Immigration Evaluations
Hardship Waiver
For individuals seeking waivers of grounds of inadmissibility, such as those who entered the U.S. illegally and are now facing deportation, our evaluations center on assessing the extreme hardship experienced by qualifying family members who are either U.S. citizens or lawful permanent residents. In these evaluations, the lawful permanent resident or U.S. citizen serves as the client. We focus on understanding the impact on the client if their partner were required to leave the U.S. for a specified penalty period, typically up to 10 years. Additionally, we consider the implications for the client if they were to relocate to their partner’s home country for the duration of this penalty period.
Violence Against Women Act
In evaluations conducted under the Violence Against Women Act (VAWA), we assess individuals, both women and men, who have endured significant harm or abuse inflicted by their U.S. Citizen or Lawful Permanent Resident spouses. Our focus is on evaluating the client to understand the impact of the trauma they have experienced.
U Visa
We conduct a comprehensive psychosocial assessment of the client, documenting the nature and severity of psychological harm and distress resulting from their victimization. This evaluation is designed for individuals who have been victims of qualifying crimes within the USA and have cooperated with police investigations. In U Visa evaluations, our focus is on assessing the immigrant to understand the impact of the trauma they have endured.
T Visa
For individuals who have been subjected to forced labor/labor trafficking or sex trafficking, T visa evaluations offer a psychosocial assessment to support temporary immigration relief. To qualify, the client must cooperate with law enforcement to aid in the investigation of their case. In T Visa evaluations, our goal is to assess the client and understand the impact of the trauma they have experienced.
